THIRTEEN WAYS OF LOOKING

How to make computers creative has been a hard problem in AI for more than half a century. Creative thinking is neither entirely random nor strictly logical. So how can we make algorithms capable of creative thinking? Creativity is simply a different way of looking. I take inspiration from how humans harness their cognitive diversity and interactive abilities for creative thinking and apply the lessons to build machines capable of becoming creative partners in future.
